As long as the underlying asphalt has the strength to resist texture fading, the application can be made to look like new by simply re-applying a fresh coat of Remarkable Surfacing product.

The amount of maintenance will depend on the application. Low traffic applications (for example, residential) need much less maintenance than a commercial or municipal application. Try to ensure that the area is flushed with water regularly to remove abrasive materials (for example, gravel and sand). Use a low-pressure, high-volume rinse (do not use high-pressure rinses). Abrasive materials can decrease the life of the coatings. Remarkable Surfacing products are resistant to oil, grease and gas. However, it is advisable to remove any spots as soon as possible. Use a mild degreaser, scrub the area with a stiff broom or brush, and follow with a high-volume, low-pressure rinse.

Yes. Recolouring can be done quickly and inexpensively.

Remarkable Surfacing products are applied as a continuous surface and their protective surfacing system does not support organic materials, so weed and plant growth should not occur.
